Every Rental, Every Rate, One Place

Clue's Rental Integrations pull your rental data straight from the vendor. United Rentals, Sunbelt, Sunstate, EquipmentShare and Ecco. No portal hopping. No side spreadsheet. The machine, the contract and the rate sit on one screen with the rest of your fleet.

Clue reads hours and location from the rental feed. A machine sitting still on your rate is easy to spot. Call it off and stop the clock.

Rental cost reviewed against utilization, with a low-use rental flagged

Daily, weekly and monthly rates come in from the vendor. You see what a rental costs while it is running, not after the bill lands.

Rental records showing status, vendor, rate and return date

Each rental carries the end date the vendor expects. Clue flags the ones that pass it. A three week hire does not quietly become a three month one.

Planning rental returns on time, with past due hires highlighted

Every rental line carries its PO and its contract number. Checking a vendor invoice against what you actually had on site takes minutes.

A rental record carrying its agreement and PO, matched to the machine

Rentals land on the project they are working. Job cost counts the rented iron, not just the fleet you own.

Rental cost by project with cost code and total rental cost for the month

Hours and idle time come through on the machines that report them. Low use on a rented machine is money you can hand back.

Rental utilization with operating hours on a rented dozer

Clue opens a rental line for every machine your vendor reports. When the vendor stops listing it, the line closes itself.

Rental condition documented before pickup, filled in from the vendor feed

Why Use Rental Integrations with Clue?

One Fleet, Not Two

Rented and owned machines share the same asset list, the same map and the same reports. Your team learns one screen.

A Record You Can Hand to Finance

Rates, dates, POs and contract numbers come from the vendor. The rental history is yours to audit.

Less Chasing, More Deciding

Nobody logs into four rental portals to answer one question. The answer is already in Clue.

Here are some common questions

Software that keeps every machine you have on hire in the same place as the fleet you own, with its vendor, its rate and its return date attached. Clue reads that detail from the rental company directly, so nobody retypes it into a spreadsheet.

Yes. Clue reads your United Rentals account directly, so the contract side and the machine side arrive together. Daily, weekly and monthly rates, the PO, the contract line, on and off rent status and the expected return date all come across, along with location, operating hours and idle hours on the units that report them.

Yes, through two separate connections. The rental one reads EquipmentShare's feed of the units you currently have on hire, with the rate, the PO and the expected return date. T3 telematics is a separate GPS integration with its own page.

United Rentals, Sunbelt Rentals, Sunstate Equipment, EquipmentShare and Ecco Equipment Rentals. What arrives differs from one to the next, so each partner page above lists exactly what that vendor sends.

Yes. A rented machine sits in the same asset list, the same map and the same reports as the equipment you own. Utilization and job cost count both, so a project shows what it really used.

Operating hours and idle time show which machines stopped working, and the expected return date flags a hire that is running long. Both numbers come from the rental company, not from an estimate.

Where the vendor reports what is on hire, yes. Clue opens a rental line for every machine the vendor lists and retires it once the vendor stops listing it. A line someone renamed or marked off rent by hand is left alone by the next sync.

Tell us which vendor you rent from and we connect it using your vendor account. Nothing gets installed on the machines, and the connection only reads: Clue never writes back to the rental company.
