Ecco Equipment Rentals

Ecco Equipment Rentals supplies construction equipment on hire, with a fleet that reports machine data on the AEMP industry standard. Clue reads that feed, so you can see how hard an Ecco machine is working while it sits on your rate. Hours and idle time show which rentals are earning their cost and which are waiting to go back.

Rental cost in Clue reviewed against utilization, with a low-use rental flagged

Power Up with Ecco Equipment Rentals

Ecco machines report what they actually do. Clue reads that data so you can tell a rental that is working from one that has been parked since last month. The decision to keep a machine or send it back stops being a guess.

Ecco Equipment Rentals Integration Features

  • Compare operating hours against idle hours on every Ecco unit, and find the ones that stopped working.
  • See where an Ecco machine sits, so a unit left on a finished job does not stay on hire.
  • Track fuel used and fuel remaining to understand the running cost behind the rental rate.
  • Read engine status to confirm a machine is running on the days you are paying for it.
  • Use distance readings to check that rented units are being used as planned.
  • Back a decision to call off a rental with the machine's own numbers.

How the Ecco Equipment Rentals integration works

Ecco Equipment Rentals reports machine data on the AEMP ISO 15143-3 standard, and Clue reads that feed on an hourly cycle. The connection is read only.

Because it is the same standard Clue already consumes from OEM and other rental sources, Ecco readings sit alongside the rest of your fleet data without special handling. A rented Ecco machine reports hours and fuel the same way an owned machine does.

What syncs today

  • Location. Where each unit on hire sits, so a machine left on a finished job does not stay on hire unnoticed.
  • Operating hours and idle hours. Cumulative readings that separate working time from standing time.
  • Distance. Useful for checking a rented unit is being used the way the job planned.
  • Fuel and DEF. Fuel used, fuel remaining and DEF level, the running cost behind the rate.
  • Engine status. Whether the machine is running on the days you are paying for it.

What this changes day to day

  • Hours against idle time tells you which Ecco rentals are earning their cost and which are waiting to go back.
  • Utilization reports count Ecco machines alongside the rest of the fleet.
  • Nobody walks the yard with a clipboard to find out what a rented machine has done.
  • Readings line up with your other telematics because they share the same standard.
  • Every unit the feed reports gets a rental line on its own, so nothing is missed at the start of a hire.
