Opifex-Synergy

Opifex-Synergy rents construction equipment to contractors. Connect it to Clue and the machines you have on hire sit in the same fleet as the ones you own, with the rental line opening and closing on what the vendor reports.

Rental cost in Clue reviewed against utilization, with a low-use rental flagged

Power Up with Opifex-Synergy

Bring your Opifex-Synergy hires into the same place as the rest of your fleet. The rental line follows what the vendor reports, so nobody has to keep a side spreadsheet of what is out and what is due back.

Opifex-Synergy Integration Features

  • See every Opifex-Synergy unit you have on hire beside the equipment you own, in one list.
  • A rental line opens for each unit the vendor reports on hire, and retires when it stops being reported.
  • Edits your team makes by hand are protected. A line someone renamed or marked off rent is left alone.
  • Rental cost posts to the project the machine is working, so job cost counts rented iron.
  • Rented units count in utilization reports alongside the machines you own.
  • The connection is read only. Clue never writes anything back to Opifex-Synergy.

How the Opifex-Synergy integration works

Clue reads what Opifex-Synergy reports about the machines you have on hire and refreshes on a schedule. The connection is read only: nothing is installed on the machines, and Clue never writes back to the vendor.

Units are matched against equipment already in your fleet, so one machine stays one record rather than appearing twice. A rental line opens for each unit the vendor lists and retires once it stops being listed, which is what keeps the list honest without anyone maintaining it.

What this changes day to day

  • The hire list is the vendor's list. Nobody keeps a side spreadsheet of what went out and what came back.
  • Rented machines sit in the same asset list, map and reports as the ones you own.
  • Rental cost lands on the project the machine is working, so job cost counts rented iron.
  • Utilization counts rented and owned together, so a project shows what it really used.
  • A line someone renamed or marked off rent by hand survives the next sync.
