New at CLUE: Shop Fills In From Where the Asset Is

Maintenance Management
October 2, 2026

Raising a work order no longer means looking up which yard a machine is in. CLUE can now fill in the Shop automatically from the asset's last known location: the shop whose boundary the asset is inside, or the shop that covers the wider area, such as a state or region, where the asset is working.

New Asset Work Order with the Shop filled in automatically after choosing the asset

What’s New?

  • Shop fills in as soon as you choose the asset on a new work order
  • A shop's own boundary is used first, so a machine in the yard always goes to that yard
  • Shops can also cover wider territories, such as a state or region
  • Change the asset and the Shop updates; if the asset is outside every shop area, Shop stays empty

Turned off by default. Ask your CLUE admin or CLUE support to turn it on for your company.
