Equipment Fault Code Alerts

Fault codes are diagnostic alerts from equipment that indicate potential issues requiring attention.

Viewing Fault Codes

Navigate to MaintenanceFault Codes to see all active fault codes across your fleet.

Understanding Severity

Fault codes are categorized by severity:

  • Critical - Immediate attention required, equipment may be unsafe
  • Warning - Issue detected, schedule maintenance soon
  • Informational - Minor issue, monitor for changes

Responding to Fault Codes

  1. Review the fault code description
  2. Check the affected asset details
  3. Create a work order if maintenance is needed
  4. Assign to a mechanic for diagnosis

Creating Work Orders from Faults

Click Create Work Order directly from a fault code entry. The work order will be pre-populated with the asset and fault information.

Clearing Fault Codes

Fault codes are typically cleared when:

  • The underlying issue is fixed
  • Equipment diagnostics reset the code
  • A mechanic marks the issue resolved
