The Assignment Calendar provides a visual timeline of where your assets have been assigned over time. Use it to track project assignments, identify scheduling conflicts, and plan future deployments.
Accessing the Assignment Calendar
Step 1: Navigate to DIRECTORY → Assets.
Step 2: Click on any asset to open its detail panel.
Step 3: Select the "Assignment Calendar" tab.
Reading the Calendar View
The calendar displays:
Project assignments - Color-coded bars showing which project the asset was assigned to
Date ranges - Start and end dates for each assignment
Assignment gaps - Periods when the asset wasn't assigned anywhere
Navigating Time Periods
Use the calendar controls to:
Scroll left/right to view past or future assignments
Change the time scale (week, month, quarter)
Jump to specific dates
Identifying Conflicts
The calendar helps identify:
Overlapping assignments (asset scheduled at two places)
Underutilized periods (long gaps between assignments)
