Users have different access levels based on their role
Permissions control what users can see and do in CLUE.
Permission Levels
- View - Can see data but not change it
- Edit - Can modify existing records
- Create - Can add new records
- Delete - Can remove records
- Admin - Full control including settings
Common Roles
- Operator - View assets, complete inspections
- Mechanic - View/edit work orders, add labor
- Manager - Full access to their division
- Admin - Company-wide settings access
Division-Based Access
Users can be restricted to see only their division's data:
- Assets owned by their division
- Projects in their area
- People in their team
Checking Permissions
- Go to Directory > People
- Click on a user
- View their Role and Permissions
