Crews help organize your workforce into teams for scheduling and dispatch.
What Are Crews?
Crews are groups of people who typically work together:
- Maintenance teams assigned to specific equipment
- Field crews working on projects
- Shift-based groups
Assigning to a Crew
- Go to Directory > People
- Click on a person's name
- Select the Crew field
- Choose an existing crew or create a new one
- Click Save
Benefits of Crews
- Dispatch - Send entire crews to projects
- Scheduling - View crew availability together
- Communication - Message all crew members at once
Tips
- Name crews by function (e.g., "Excavation Team A")
- Assign a crew leader for accountability
- Review assignments as projects change
