When creating a new work order, Clue can now suggest the most relevant components based on your work description. Powered by AI, this feature saves time by automatically recommending components that match the type of work you are performing, so you do not have to scroll through long lists.
As soon as you type a description in the work order form, Clue analyzes the text and suggests matching components from your organization's component library. The suggestions appear in a banner below the description field.
Go to Maintenance > Work Orders and click the New Work Order button.
Type a detailed description of the work to be performed. For example: "Replace hydraulic pump and check for leaks in the hydraulic system."
After a brief moment, an AI suggestions banner will appear below the description field showing recommended components.
Each suggested component has two options:
Q: Do I have to use AI suggestions?
A: No. Suggestions are optional. You can ignore them entirely and continue selecting components manually.
Q: What if a suggestion is wrong?
A: Simply click the X to dismiss it. The system learns from your feedback and will improve over time.
Q: Will this slow down work order creation?
A: No. Suggestions load in the background while you continue filling out the form. They appear within a second or two of typing your description.
