Fuelers can use the mobile app to see fuel tank levels across the fleet. It can help them decide what assets needs fuel first. This helps cut wasted trips and makes it easier to build a smarter route in the field. It helps fuelers quickly see which units are low and avoid driving to equipment that does not need fuel yet.

This feature also fits in with Filing a Fuel Report, Oiler Reports and Fluid Inspections, and Reviewing and Editing Fuel Entries if your team is tracking fuel activity from start to finish.

Who is This For?

This feature is most useful for the people planning fuel runs or checking asset readiness before sending equipment out. It gives a fast view of which assets may need attention next.

  • Fuelers are able to see which assets need fuel before driving to them
  • Dispatchers can check fuel levels when assigning assets to jobs
  • Supervisors are able to get a quick view of low-fuel equipment in the field

How to Use It

Use this view when you want a quick way to sort assets by fuel need before starting a fuel run. The goal is to help the team prioritize low-fuel assets first and avoid unnecessary stops.

Check Fuel Levels

Open Assets in the mobile app.

Tap on the Fuel Tank Level filter button to show each asset's current fuel percentage. Assets with lower fuel levels appear with their percentage, making it easier to decide what should be fueled first.

Use that list to plan your route and focus on the assets that need fuel most.

Tips

A few simple habits can make this feature more useful in the field. The goal of this feature is to help fuelers spend less time driving around and more time fueling the assets that actually need it.

  • Check fuel levels before leaving the yard so you can plan the most efficient route
  • Prioritize assets with the the lowest fuel levels first
  • Use this view with Filing a Fuel Report so fuel checks and fuel records stay connected
  • Pair it with Reviewing and Editing Fuel Entries if supervisors need to verify what was fueled later
