Find What You Need Quickly

CLUE provides powerful search and filtering tools across all major screens to help you find assets, work orders, and other data quickly.

Asset Directory Example

Global Search

Most list views include a search bar at the top. Type any keyword to instantly filter results:

• Search by Equipment ID, name, or serial number
• Search by work order number or title
• Search by person name or project

Filter Options

Click Filters to open the filter panel with options like:

• Status - Filter by active, inactive, or specific statuses
• Type - Filter by asset type (Vehicle, Equipment, Tool)
• Project - Show assets assigned to a specific project
• Crew - Filter by assigned crew or team

Quick Filter Chips

Filter chips below the search bar provide fast access to common filters:

• Filters - Opens the full filter panel
• Assignee - Filter by assigned person
• Status - Quick status filtering

Header Actions

Common actions available on list pages:

• Search - Type to filter results
• Filters - Advanced filtering options
• Share - Share the current view with teammates
• Download - Export data to Excel

Tips for Effective Searching

• Use partial matches - typing "EX-1" finds "EX-100", "EX-123", etc.
• Combine filters with search for precise results
• Clear filters by clicking the X on each chip
• Download filtered results using the export button
