Overview

Organize your projects using Types and Classes to categorize job sites by their nature and scope. This classification helps with reporting, resource allocation, and cost tracking.

Project Types

Types describe the kind of work being done:

  • Construction - New build projects
  • Maintenance - Ongoing maintenance contracts
  • Demolition - Teardown projects
  • Renovation - Remodel/improvement work
  • Emergency - Urgent/unplanned work

Project Classes

Classes describe the project's business category:

  • Commercial - Business/retail projects
  • Residential - Housing projects
  • Industrial - Manufacturing/warehouse
  • Government - Public sector contracts
  • Infrastructure - Roads, bridges, utilities

Setting Type and Class

Step 1: Open a project from DIRECTORY → Projects.

Step 2: In the project detail, find Type and Class fields.

Step 3: Select appropriate values from dropdowns.

Step 4: Save changes.

Using for Analysis
