Tags help you categorize and filter assets, work orders, and other items in CLUE.
Accessing Tag Settings
- Go to Admin > Company Settings
- Select Tags from the menu
Creating a New Tag
- Click Add Tag
- Enter a tag name
- Choose a color for easy identification
- Select which items can use this tag
- Click Save
Tag Categories
- Asset Tags - Label equipment by project, condition, or purpose
- Work Order Tags - Categorize maintenance by type or priority
- Project Tags - Group jobs by client or region
Using Tags
- Add tags when creating or editing items
- Filter lists by tag to find specific items
- Use in reports for better analysis
Tips
- Keep tag names short and consistent
- Use colors to make tags visually distinct
- Review and clean up unused tags periodically
